Let’s have some fun on camping on the banks of the Peace River!
When was the last time you ate a S’more, slept in a tent, or looked at a sky filled with a million stars? Relive those childhood memories or help your kids create their own memories. Camping on the banks of the Peace is an experience you’ll never forget.
The trip descriptions below are starting from the north put-in and going downstream, south, as the river flows, to the take-out. We bus you upriver and you paddle downstream back to your vehicles. The runs listed #5 through #9 are on property that Canoe Outpost-Peace River owns (except #7). You can also do any of the below runs and not camp at the areas listed, just find your own spot. Camping spots on the stretches south of Gardner are very limited and not as plentiful at the Zolfo Springs to Gardner wilderness stretch.
All overnight trips where you take your camping gear with you are wilderness, primitive campsites. Camping at Oak Hill is semi-wilderness. The names in Green are the only trips where camping gear can be delivered and camping areas can be reserved.
